Delete Your ThisIsMN Mobile Account

This page explains how to delete an account used with the ThisIsMN iOS or Android application.

Delete your account in the application

1. Sign in to the ThisIsMN application.
2. Open Profile.
3. Select Delete account.
4. Read the confirmation and select Delete account again.

When the request succeeds, you are signed out everywhere and the application clears its protected credentials and local account database.

Request deletion without the application

If you cannot sign in or no longer have the application, email support@thisis.mn with the subject ThisIsMN mobile account deletion request. Send the request from the email address associated with the account when possible. Do not send your password, access token, recovery code, or government identification in the first message.

We may ask for limited information to verify that you control the account. We will confirm the outcome and complete a verified request within the time required by applicable law.

Data deleted or anonymized

Account deletion:

• revokes login sessions, refresh credentials, passkeys, two-factor records, and device records;
• deletes mobile reviews and related interactions, notifications, favorites, saved searches, non-audit activity and search history, push records, and mobile preferences;
• removes profile fields such as name, email, image, username, biography, phone number, interests, and last-known location from active use by replacing the retained account identity with anonymous deletion values; and
• clears the mobile application's local account data after an in-app deletion succeeds.

We may retain narrowly limited transaction, booking, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, or compliance records when law or a legitimate legal claim requires them. Retained records are restricted or anonymized where reasonably possible and are not used to recreate the deleted account.
