A pilot, scoped and in writing

Public agencies do not need another platform to sign up for. What tends to be missing is a way for residents and business owners to find what an agency already publishes: a notice, a service, a permit process, who to call.

This track exists so a pilot can be defined narrowly, agreed on paper, and stopped cleanly if it does not work.

Who this is for

Cities and counties, particularly economic development and communications teams.
Tribal nations running their own business and services information.
Regional bodies and joint powers boards that cover several jurisdictions.
State agencies with a defined program that needs to reach local businesses.

How a pilot works

We agree in writing what the pilot covers, how long it runs, what data is involved and what happens to it at the end, before anything goes live.
Anything you publish stays yours. You can export it and you can have it removed.
Cost, if any, is agreed in that same document. Nothing starts on a handshake and turns into an invoice.
We will tell you plainly when something you want is not built yet rather than scoping it into a pilot and hoping.

What we need from you

A named sponsor inside the agency, and whoever would actually use the thing day to day.
One problem stated concretely. "Residents cannot find which permits apply to a home business" is workable. "Digital transformation" is not.
Your procurement, records retention and accessibility requirements up front, not after a pilot is designed.
