If you build software Minnesota businesses use, you have probably rebuilt some version of this directory yourself: a business lookup, a category list, an events feed. This track is about reading ours instead, and sending back what you know that we do not.
There is a read API for businesses, categories, events and reviews. Its base URL is https://thisis.mn/api/v1 and every request needs an X-API-Key header.
Keys are issued by hand during the pilot. There is no self-service key page and no free public tier, so anything you read about signing up for a key elsewhere is us being ahead of ourselves. Apply here or ask on the contact page and a key comes back by email with the rate limit written on it.
Writing data back is not open yet. If that is what you want, say so below: it is the part of the roadmap partner input actually moves.
The endpoint reference is on the developers page, with a shorter version at API docs.
No logo wall here until there are logos we have permission to show. When a partner ships an integration and agrees to be named, it appears here.
You do not need a ThisIsMN account to apply. A person reads every application and replies by email, including when the answer is no.
